Remembering a Modern Day Martyr
A Tribute to Charlie Kirk
The world lost a once-in-a-lifetime hero on September 10th, taken out by the 22 year old assassin, Tyler Robinson. Listening to conversations and reading posts on social media these past few days, it’s hard to comprehend the breadth of Charlie Kirk’s influence. He managed to stimulate excitement, vision, appreciation, and patriotism for our country in the young and old, alike. If you had the privilege of attending a Turning Point rally, you would have seen just as many grandmas as teens. No other public figure has captured the attention of the Millennial and Gen Z cohorts more than Charlie, and he was instrumental in bringing his followers back to traditional family values, particularly young men.
Charlie co-founded Turning Point USA as a high school graduate, focusing mainly on small government and low taxes. In recent years, he shifted to speaking more on the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus and the benefits to society and the individual of returning to the traditional values of marriage and children. His dream was to “revive the American family.” He spoke frankly of the harms of gender mutilation and protection of the unborn. He warned against the dangers of mass immigration and critical race theory. Charlie relentlessly pursued freedom of speech and debate, frequently going to unfriendly university campuses and hosting “Prove Me Wrong” events where he asked students who disagreed with him to come to the front of the line. He flourished on open debate.
He is widely known to have handed Donald J. Trump his 2nd presidency. Turning Point’s ballot chasing measures proved to flip several battleground states, thanks in part to Charlie’s ability to mobilize young voters. Young men flocked to him, desperate to have a someone speaking with truth, transparency and masculinity, bringing honor back to maleness.
Charlie’s relentless pursuit of religious freedom and liberty for all Americans, along with his “gentle warrior” persona, will be remembered and cherished for decades to come. Millions around the globe are grieving his loss and the pain that his wife, children, parents, and all those close to him must be feeling is unimaginable.
Tonight, Mrs. Erika Kirk gave her first public address on national media. She was eloquent, gracious, and has a fiery determination to carry on Charlie’s vision for America. “You have no idea what you have unleashed. These widow’s tears will echo around the world like a battle cry.” I recommend that you watch this short clip. She starts speaking at minute 11:45.
Montanans celebrated his life today on the steps of the Capitol. Many spoke of personal relationships with him that forged the projection of their lives. All spoke of the profound impact that he’d had on them. It was a beautiful memorial for a man who can never be replaced, but we can all be inspired to continue his fight for free speech, religious liberty, and returning to our Judeo-Christian foundation.
May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.
Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk.

I didn't know Mr. Kirk but I have known others who were plucked from station Earth just as they seemed like they were about to make the greatest impact, and some of them even younger than Mr. Kirk.
Disrespect for life comes with very, very serious consequences but we live at a time where many don't believe in consequences. But this dystopic period will pass.
We who remain on station Earth end up holding the bag when loved ones leave. They are fine in their new environs, it is those of us here that seem to pay the price of their departure, but what is the Big Picture.... well, I don't know really, but I can imagine his soul decided to leave and leave in this manner to help change the paradigm, and the work Mr. Kirk will do on the other side may far exceed what he could have done in this dense vibration.
Good, for him and for us (I guess) but the cost is children without a father and a widow. So, I hope that indeed he is still helping us poor slobs in ways we can't even imagine.
