It's time to protect our animals ... and food supply from mRNA vaccines
MT's HB 418 will do that
Our next bill to be heard in the Montana Legislature, sponsored by the good Representative Kmetz, is HB 418, which is “An Act prohibiting the administration of gene-based vaccines into animals in the state of Montana.” For the full bill text, click here.
Currently, in the U.S., an mRNA vaccine for swine (Sequivity) was approved in 2022, based on one study of 748 piglets. Overall, 11.5% of the piglets died or had anorexia/failure to thrive, and another 18.3% had other adverse reactions, including lameness and loss of condition. Of note, there have been no long-term studies of the animal’s health done nor human safety studies in humans who have consumed meat from mRNA vaccinated animals.
There needs to be much more research done with these products before we want them in our food supply or harming our animals.
HB 418 will be heard in the Ag Committee on Thursday, February 20th at 3pm. To email the committee members asking for a “do pass” vote, please email them here.
We are still looking for ranchers, veterinarians, and concerned citizens to testify in the hearing. If you are interested in doing this, you can show up in person to the Capitol just before 3pm (Rm 137) or can register here to participate via Zoom. All instructions are there. It is required to register at least 2 hours prior, but the night before is recommended as there are sometimes glitches in their new system.
Finally, this is the last call for people in Montana, and all over the country, to contact these Republican legislators asking them to support HB 371, our bill to ban mRNA in humans. The House floor vote is tomorrow, February 19th. They need to hear loud and clear that this bill is strongly supported and the time to protect our citizens from further harm is NOW.
